Marisa is an LA-based producer and entrepreneur, and mother of two. She is also the CO-CEO of STRAIGHT UP FILMS, a multi-media production company that has worked alongside some big Hollywood names, such as Natalie Portman, Rosario Dawson, Jesse Eisenberg, Gina Rodriguez and many others.

Marisa has also co-launched Straight Up Impact, a film and production company that produces, and finances content that inspires positive, social change.

In 2019, Marisa created the “Power On” series for Google’s computer science in media division which was a five-part, short-film series designed to promote gender and racial diversity in STEAM fields.
Marisa is currently producing the “Meaning in Madness” film series, which centers around the systemic issues contributing to the suicide epidemic facing young adults and teens today, and the importance of having meaning and purpose in their lives.
